WARREN COUNTY, Illinois (NEWS3) – One person was killed and another was injured following a single-vehicle crash near Little Swan Lake on Sunday.
According to the Illinois State Police, 31-year-old Justin Howell of Seaton and Craig Sloan, 32, of Avon were travelling eastbound on 23rd Avenue.
Just before 2 a.m., the vehicle ran off 23rd Avenue near Wingate Drive and and overturned several times.
Howell was killed in the crash. Sloan received minor injures.
The accident was caused by “improper lane usage,” a statement from ISP reads.
