MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) – Dangerously cold temperatures are still locked in across the country. Wind chills will continue to dip below 0 degrees in the Macomb area. The bitterly cold temperatures will begin to move out as warmer weather settles in by the weekend.

A chance of snow is in the forecast on Sunday with temperatures inching closer to freezing. Temperatures will rise above freezing next week, helping us thaw out and melt some of the snow.
