Flooding shuts down Illinois 78 between U.S. 136 and U.S. 24

FULTON COUNTY, Illinois (NEWS3) – Flooding will shut down Illinois 78 in Fulton County Monday afternoon.

According to Fulton County emergency management, the highway will be closed between US. 136 and U.S. 24.

The closure will not impact U.S. 136 or U.S. 24, as well as the U.S. 136 or Havana bridges.

Fulton County emergency management reminds drivers not to move the barricades and to “turn around, don’t drown.”
