Another Winter Weather Advisory issued for McDonough County

(NEWS3) — The cold, wet winter weather is sticking around our area for the next 24 hours.

Another Winter Weather Advisory will be in effect for McDonough County starting Wednesday night at 7 p.m. through 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

A storm system will push through stronger than the one on Wednesday morning that will make its way through our viewing area Wednesday evening.
The National Weather Service predicts our area to see anywhere between 3 and 6 inches of snow. Due to temperature differences, the exact amount is uncertain. The wintery mix should begin around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Most of our area saw a Winter Weather Advisory Tuesday night into midday on Wednesday.
Drivers can expect slippery road conditions Thursday morning making commutes to class or work dangerous. Make sure to set enough time to get to your destination on time and safely.
NEWS3 will continue to monitor the weather systems as they begin to move through the area.
