Local police to host “Coffee with a Cop”

WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, Macomb (NEWS3) – The Office of Public Safety (OPS), in coordination with other local law enforcement agencies, will host “Coffee with a Cop” on Wednesday.

The event is designed to allow the public to have a one-on-one interaction with members of law enforcement by asking questions or voicing concerns.

Officers from OPS will be in attendance, as well as representatives from the Macomb Police Department, McDonough County Sheriff’s Department and the Illinois State Police District #14 (Macomb) office.

“Coffee with a Cop” will be held from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20 in the University Union concourse.
