MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) – The time has come again for the annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser held at Western Illinois University’s campus.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered fundraiser designed to help infants, children, teens, and young adults who are struggling with childhood cancers.

This year is WIU’s 15th year hosting the event, and it challenges participants to shave their head, donate, or even volunteer their time to fight childhood cancer.

The goal for the event is to raise $10,000 with more than 30 people predicted to shave their heads.

For anyone wanting to get involved, the event is set to be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tanner Circle on Sunday, March 24.
