Fourth annual Foos for Families to take place in March

MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) – The Macomb Park District and Center for Youth and Family Solutions is holding the fourth annual Foos for Families tournament.

A group of Recreation, Park and Tourism Administration (RPTA) students planned the event to raise money for the center.

Foos for Families is a human Foosball tournament, which means participants will use their bodies for the game.

Assistant Professor of RPTA Jeremy Robinett said the event is a good way to connect students and university members.

“Macomb is so wonderful and so fortunate in supporting the things we do here at Western, and this is just one of the many examples of how that plays out.”

Foos for Families will be March 3 at the Campus Recreation Center. Those interested can register their team of six to eight people by Friday for $30 or for $40 after the deadline. Visit macombparkdistrict.com to register.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, a Foos for Families benefit will take place at Chubby’s from 5 to 8 p.m.
