Two dead in Macomb following murder-suicide

The Macomb Police Department says two are dead following a suspected murder-suicide.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, police were dispatched to 322 N. Edwards St. after a postal worker reported mail piling up at the home.

Upon entry, police found two subjects that were both deceased.

Police have identified the two as 80-year-old Larry Ruthe and 79-year-old Betty Ruthe.

Authorities believe Larry shot his wife before turning the gun on himself.
