This comes one day after three new cases were reported in McDonough County and one new case in Schuyler County. Health officials reported McDonough County’s second death related to coronavirus Tuesday. Western Illinois University also announced Tuesday a student living on campus was confirmed with the virus and has since been relocated. “Recovered is defined by CDC as resolution of fever without fever-reducing medications for 3
days (72 hours), improvement of respiratory symptoms, and at least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared,” officials said.
