Monmouth man arrested for multiple residential burglaries

MONMOUTH, Ill. (NEWS3) — Police arrested a man after an investigation into his connection to a string of burglaries.

Monmouth Police said a search warrant was conducted Thursday in the 800 block of South C Street, as part of an ongoing investigation into recent residential burglaries that occurred in Monmouth.

Officials said in addition to the search warrant, an arrest warrant was executed on Randall Bell, 57, of Monmouth.

Authorities said Bell was charged with six counts of residential burglary and one count of possession of methamphetamine.

Bell is being held in the Warren County Sheriff’s Department with bond set at $7,500.
