Local group invites community to forum on race relations

MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — The Racial Justice Coalition of McDonough County is inviting the community to talk about race and diversity.

The group hopes to bring residents and those on campus together in the discussion.  The meeting will take place on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m. at Macomb City Hall. The event is open to the public.

Topics discussed during the meeting are gender, race and class and how it will affect others.

The Racial Justice Coalition is part of the Democratic Women of McDonough County.
