Police: Armed suspect wanted for theft in Macomb

MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — Macomb Police are looking for a man considered armed and dangerous after stealing multiple firearms from a residence.

Lieutenant Lindsey May said Travis Baker is a primary suspect connected to 13 firearms stolen at a residence on North Albert Street Wednesday morning.

May said officers responded to the location around 3:30 p.m. for a call of a theft that happened earlier that morning around 11:30 a.m.

Police said three other people unidentified are also involved in the theft. Police believe the suspects are heading to Chicago.

McDonough County State’s Attorney has issued a warrant for Baker’s arrest with a bond set at $200,000.

Police said Baker is a black male, about 5’7″ and weighs around 170 pounds.
