Monmouth Police investigating school vandalism

MONMOUTH, Ill. (NEWS3) — The Monmouth Police Department received a report of vandalism in a restroom at Monmouth-Roseville High School on Monday.

Upon arrival, police determined the vandalism contained words that may be perceived as a threat against a staff member and potentially the school. Monmouth Police are investigating the potential risk, but school administration and law enforcement believe the threat of violence is not credible.
