Thunderstorms and high winds to start week

(NEWS3) — A cold front will move into the west-central Illinois region early Monday morning.
The cold front will likely bring early morning showers and thunderstorms between 5 a.m. until 9 a.m. Rainfall totals could range between a tenth of a quarter of an inch, which can vary based on the location of the storms.
The line of storms will likely move out of the area around 10 a.m. Monday.
The cold front will usher in high winds following the storms. Sustained wind speeds could be between 15-20 mph, with wind gusts as high as 30 mph. This may last into Tuesday evening.
Temperatures look to remain mild for the start of the work week. Monday’s high will be near 62 with a low around 42. Tuesday looks to be cooler with a high of 55 and a low around 37.
