MCDONOUGH COUNTY, Ill. (NEWS3) – One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in McDonough County just after midnight Friday.
According to Illinois State Police, a driver of a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder was traveling southbound on US-67, about half a mile north of 350 North. ISP said the driver drove off the west side of the road, overcorrected and overturned multiple times.
One of the occupants was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
ISP said no seat belts were worn and charges are pending.
The crash is under investigation and the identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
