Macomb man charged with possession of meth

MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — The McDonough County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Macomb man after methamaphetamine and cannabis paraphernalia were found in his car.

Sheriff Nick Petitgout said Justin Ketcham, 29, was pulled on Sunday for disobeying a stop sign at the intersection of Route 41 and US 136.

During the traffic stop, Petitgout said deputies smelled burnt cannabis and searched Ketcham’s vehicle.

Deputies found methamphetamine, numerous pieces of methamphetamine paraphernalia and cannabis paraphernalia.

Petitgout said Ketcham was arrested and charged with possession of meth under five grams.

He was lodged at the McDonough County Jail with a bond set at $10,000.
