Park N’ Cruise event cancelled due to inclement weather

MACOMB, Ill. (NEWS3) — The Park N’ Cruise scheduled in Macomb for Saturday, Sept. 21 has been cancelled due to the forecasted inclement weather.

The Park N’ Cruise was set to take place from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday in downtown Macomb.

“We had a great season and look forward to 2020,” Macomb Downtown Development Director Kristin Terry said.

Terry said the Party on the Square set for Saturday evening from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m. will go on regardless of the weather.

The event was created by local businesses three years ago to bring residents downtown to support the community.

Attendees are asked to bring a chair and a koozie. Food and drinks will be available for purchase and live entertainment will be provided by Duke and the Bank on the Fly with special guest, Crouch’s couch.

If there is inclement weather, the event will be held at the Cafe located at 8 West Side Square.
