Blandinsville man dies after car crash

MCDONOUGH COUNTY, Ill. (NEWS3) — One man is dead after a single car crash Saturday night in McDonough County.

Illinois State Police said Edwin Grisham, 74, from Blandinsville was driving north on 350 East about a half mile north of 950 North in the Tennessee Township a little after 9 p.m. when his Ford Explorer ran off the side of the road and hit an embankment then overturned.

Police said Grisham was thrown from the vehicle and was not wearing a seat belt.

Police said the cause of the crash is due to improper lane usage.
