American Red Cross opens shelter for flood victims in Rock Island County

MOLINE, Illinois (NEWS3) – The American Red Cross has opened a shelter for victims of flooding in Rock Island County.

According to the Rock Island County Sheriff’s Office, the shelter is located at the Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, 1201 13th Street in Moline’s Overlook district.

The shelter will open at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Red Cross will also continue to handout water to residents of Campbell’s Island on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 3-6 p.m.
