Three arrested in Galesburg on meth charges

GALESBURG, Illinois (NEWS3) – Three people were arrested on meth charges following a drug raid in Galesburg on Wednesday.

According to the Galesburg Police Department, authorities executed a search warrant at 907 Pennsylvania Ave.

Approximately 1.4 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, approximately 50 grams of powder cocaine, $2,000 and smaller amounts of other controlled substances were recovered from the home.

36-year-old Amy Gerstenberger, of Galesburg, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 5 to 15 grams.

Trevor Jacob Pierce, 22, of Stronghurst was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 5 to 15 grams.

48-year-old Janeen Marie Barry, of Monmouth, was charged with Manufacture and Delivery of Methamphetamine over 500 grams and Possession of Methamphetamine over 500 grams.

The investigation is ongoing with the possibility of additional charges and arrests being made, the department said.
