Hy-Vee’s two Galesburg locations to participate in Drug Take-Back Day

GALESBURG, Illinois (NEWS3) – Both of Hy-Vee’s Galesburg locations will be participating in Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27.

“The Drug Enforcement Administration’s National Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription medications,” a release from Hy-Vee read.

Drug take-back areas will be located in the Hy-Vee pharmacy or clinic’s parking lot.

All prescription medications, including controlled substances, will be accepted.

Customers are encouraged to contact their local Hy-Vee pharmacy to find out the hours of the event at that specific location.
