PORT BYRON, Illinois (NEWS3) – One man was arrested on child pornography charges in Port Byron on Wednesday morning.
According to the Illinois State Police, Cory Redman, 24, was charged with six counts of Class 2 Felony Possession of Child Pornography.
Additional charges are pending further examination of electronic evidence.
Investigators obtained a search warrant after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and developing a “significant amount of electronic evidence.”
Redman was lodged at the Rock Island County Jail. Bond has been set at $100,000.
