MONMOUTH, Illinois (NEWS3) – Construction on U.S. 34 in Monmouth will begin on Monday, April 22.
Work will include resurfacing, as well as guardrail replacement, improved pedestrian accommodations, drainage and signals.
Lanes will be closed during the project and delays can be anticipated.
Work is expected to be completed by December.
