Juvenile arrested after threat made to Bushnell- Prairie City High School

BUSHNELL, Illinois (NEWS3) — A juvenile was arrested after a threat was made to Bushnell- Prairie City High School on Sunday.

According to the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office, a threat was made on social media that an incident would take place at the school involving a firearm at 10 a.m. Monday.

Police took a 15-year-old female into custody on at 1 a.m. Monday morning.

The juvenile was charged with Felony Disorderly Conduct.

Further investigation proved the juvenile did not have access to a firearm.

She is lodged at the Mary Davis Home in Galesburg pending a juvenile detention hearing.
