Galesburg police ask for public’s help after hit-and-run

GALESBURG, Illinois (NEWS) – Galesburg police are asking for the public’s help after a hit-and-run early Saturday morning.

According to the Galesburg Police Department, a dark colored SUV struck a pedestrian in the 400 block of South Academy Drive.

The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with significant injuries.
