MOLINE, Illinois (NEWS3) – A suspect has been arrested following a shooting Monday night near downtown Moline that wounded two.
According to the Moline Police Department, 23-year-old Terril Jenkins is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and two
counts of Aggravated Battery with a Firearm.
At approximately 9:32 p.m. Monday evening, police were dispatched to 6th Avenue and 25th Street for a report of shots fired.
Two were wounded in the shooting and were transported to the hospital. One has since been released while the other remains in critical condition.
Jenkins and the suspect vehicle were both located in Davenport Tuesday morning.
Jenkins is in custody at the Scott County Jail on a $1 million cash only bond.
