Littleton man arrested on drug charges, valid warrant

BUSHNELL, Illinois (NEWS3) – A Littleton man was arrested on drug charges Thursday evening.

According to the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Bronson Rutledge had a valid McDonough County warrant for failing to appear in court.

Deputies located Rutledge in a vehicle in Bushnell.

According to a press release from the agency, Rutledge smelled of cannabis and a search was conducted.

He was found to be in possession of cannabis less than 10 grams and was also found to be in possession of less than 5 grams of
Methamphetamine.

Rutledge is currently lodged in the McDonough County Jail in lieu of bond on the Methamphetamine charge and will need an additional $500 for the warrant.

He was issued a civil citation for the cannabis.
