Ipava man arrested in connection to string of Fulton, McDonough County burglaries

IPAVA, Illinois (NEWS3) – An Ipava man was arrested Thursday evening in connection to a string of burglaries in Fulton and McDonough Counties last fall.

According to the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office, 32-year-old Blake Yazvec was connected a series of burglaries in which several items were stolen from local farmers.

Yazvec had a valid warrant for burglary in McDonough County and also had a valid warrant in Fulton County.

He is being held at the McDonough County Jail in lieu of bond.
