COLCHESTER, Illinois (NEWS3) – One man was arrested following a police pursuit through rural Colchester on Monday.
According to the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office, 49-year-old Daniel Webber of Macomb was arrested after a short and low-speed pursuit.
A deputy, who knew Webber’s license was suspended, witnessed him driving on U.S. 136 and attempted to pull him over.
Webber then fled on county roads before he was taken into custody without incident.
Webber is charged with Aggravated Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol, Aggravated Driving while Revoked, Fleeing and Eluding, and Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.
