Former WIU interim provost Kathy Neumann to retire

WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, Macomb (NEWS3) – Former Interim Provost and Academic Vice President Kathy Neumann will retire effective Thursday, Feb. 28, the university confirmed to NEWS3.

Neumann worked in the Office of the Provost and Academic Vice President since July 2011, also serving as Associate Provost and Academic Vice President for Budget, Planning, Personnel, and Technology.

Prior to that, Neumann worked in the School of Computer Sciences beginning 1995, serving as a professor and later the department chair.

Neumann worked at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1992-1995.
