MCDONOUGH COUNTY, Illinois (NEWS3) – Three were arrested in rural McDonough County on drug charges Tuesday night.
Douglas Heath, 29, of Andalusia, Illinois, Cheyenne Prouty, 34, of Moline, Illinois and Bryan Wayne, 40, of Albany, Illinois were arrested after the McDonough County Sheriff’s Office said meth was found in their vehicle.
At 10:39 p.m. on Tuesday, a McDonough County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near Illinois 336 and E. 850th Street.
A press release from the Sheriff’s Office said Heath had a valid warrant in Rock Island County and was unable to provide valid proof of insurance. Wayne had a valid Rock Island County and Whiteside County warrant.
Upon inspection of the vehicle, Methamphetamine paraphernalia and a small amount of methamphetamine were found inside a bag belonging to Prouty, according to the release.
All three were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine under 5 grams and Possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia.
