Macomb police follow school buses, make sure motorists stop

MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) – The Macomb Police Department patrolled bus stops Friday to ensure motorists were not passing stopped school buses.

The department said in a Facebook post that officers followed the school buses.

“We were looking for stop arm violations and distracted motorists,” the post read.

The department says there were no violations and it was “another safe day.”
