HEBER, Utah (NEWS3/KSTU) – Three people are being hailed as heroes after saving a woman from a Utah cabin that exploded.
Mark Pierce rushed into the cabin just as another explosion went off.
“I thought, I thought that was it,” Pierce’s wife Marry Hammond told KSTU.
Pierce and two others who rushed into the cabin made it out with the woman they rescued.
Authorities say it’s unclear what caused the explosion, although investigators say there was propane in the residence.
The woman is in critical condition at an area hospital.
Mary Hammond and her family have set up a go-fund-me page to help the woman’s family.
