Snow Thursday may impact evening commute

MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) – Western Illiois could see between a dusting and two inches of snow Thursday evening.

As a system moves across the region, areas along U.S. 34 may see up to two inches of snow, with a dusting possible farther south. Areas north of U.S. 34 may see between two and four inches of snow.

Due to the extremely cold temperatures the past three days, road chemicals may to work as well in fighting the snowfall; therefore, the evening commute may be hazardous.
