WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY, Western Illinois campus advisory in effect

WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, Macomb (NEWS3) – Western Illinois University has issued a campus weather advisory due to a rain/ snow mix and snow overnight.

The advisory is issued from Wednesday evening at 9 p.m. evening until Thursday morning at 9 a.m.

The campus will remain open and classes will be held Wednesday.

“In all weather situations, it is ultimately the personal responsibility of faculty, staff and students to make their own decisions regarding attendance and to use their judgment concerning travel conditions,” a statement form the university reads.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is also in effect for much of western Illinois until 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
