WESTERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY, Macomb (NEWS3) – Western Illinois University has issued a campus weather advisory due to forecasted freezing rain overnight.
The advisory is issued from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.
The campus will remain open and classes will be held Wednesday.
“In all weather situations, it is ultimately the personal responsibility of faculty, staff and students to make their own decisions regarding attendance and to use their judgment concerning travel conditions,” a statement form the university reads.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect for much of western Illinois until 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
