Macomb Park District warns of phony survey consultant

MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) — The Macomb Park District is warning residents of a phony survey consultant.

The organization said a man in his 50s is identifying as a consultant hired to conduct a survey for the Macomb Park District.

“The Macomb Park District is not nor have we employed or contracted any outside agency or individual to conduct any form of survey or poll,” the organization wrote on their Facebook page.

Some residents have reported a man coming to their door asking how many people reside in the home and when they are gone.

Residents are asked to call the Macomb Police Department immediately at (309)833-4505 if approached.
