MACOMB, Illinois (NEWS3) — Go West is reassuring passengers expected to arrive via train at Macomb that they will be picked up.
After Go West announced that drivers would be pulled due to the blizzard, passengers on the 383 Illinois Zephyr train were told busses would not be at the Macomb station to pick them up.
After being asked by NEWS3 if this was true, Go West later tweeted “there will be two busses parked behind the depot to pick you up.”
The train is currently experiencing significant delays due to the storm and is expected to take more than two hours longer to arrive in Macomb.
