Motorists advised not to travel into McDonough County

FULTON COUNTY, Illinois (NEWS3) — As a massive blizzard moves across western Illinois, motorists are advised not to travel into McDonough County.

The emergency management agency of neighboring Fulton County is telling residents to avoid travelling across the county line.

The agency also says there are reports of multiples roads closed near Good Hope and Bushnell.

According to the Illinois Department of Transportation, McDonough County, including roadways, are completely covered in snow as of 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
