What to expect from Sunday’s massive winter storm

A massive winter storm barreling towards western Illinois has forced WINTER STORM WARNINGS across the area.

The storm is expected to arrive early Sunday morning and last through much of the day dumping snow and high winds.

Motorists will be highly impacted on Sunday as post-Thanksgiving travel will be very hazardous and dangerous.

High winds will also causing blowing and drifting snow.

Western Illinois could see 4″ of snow with as many as 8″ to the north near the Quad Cities.

Stormteam3 has issued  Sunday’s storm impact as Level 4 (significant).
