A serial ‘dine and dasher’ wanted in eastern Iowa was caught in Davenport Monday evening.
Tracy Allan Haas, 46, was booked at the Scott County Jail on intrastate detainer, a felony.
While dining at the Applebee’s on Elmore Avenue, many patrons and staff recognized Haas due to recent publicity.
Staff at the restaurant contacted police when it became apparent that Haas was trying to leave without paying.
Since 2016, Haas has been dining at restaurants across eastern Iowa and leaving before paying.
