University Relations at Western Illinois announced changes to Wednesday’s CUPP Block Party. The following is release from University Relations:
“Due to the inclement weather forecasted for later this afternoon, the Community-University Partnership Program (CUPP) 13th annual Welcome Back Block Party, set for 5-7 p.m. today (Sept. 5), will be held in the University Union Grand Ballroom rather than the Sherman Hall front lawn as originally scheduled.
The event, which is open free to the public, will feature music, food, games and prizes. A table fair, featuring local businesses, will also be part of the event.
The CUPP organization, comprised of University and community representatives, was formed to promote relations between the college and the community. CUPP meets several times a year to discuss topics of importance to both communities.
For more information, contact the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce at (309) 837-4855.”
