Holiday tournament basketball is upon us.
Locally, the Macomb Western Holiday Tournament is turning 71 years old in 2016. The seeds have been announced for this year’s tournament.
No surprise that three time defending champion Rockridge is the number one seed. West Hancock at number two, Illini West earning the three and Illini Bluffs at four round out the tournament’s top seeds.
Macomb High plays Farmington inside Western Hall on Wednesday, December 28 at 6:30 p.m. in one of the opening round games. It will all culminate to the championship game on Friday, December 30 late at 9:30 p.m.
Western Illinois University and Macomb High School host the event. Admission per session is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
