One of Macomb’s popular summer activities is moving for the 2017 season.
The Farmers Market won’t be on the square when it kicks off in May, but instead, north in Chandler Park. This move is due to the construction the square will be under in the summer, making it easier on shoppers and vendors.
Downtown Development Director Kristin Terry says, “The market will be on the south side of the park, so vendors can pull into the parking spots. This makes it easy for the vendors to put the tents up on the grass side and allows shoppers to walk down the sidewalk.”
The Farmers market will be on Thursday and Saturday mornings and will begin in May.
