WIU OPS Warns of Phone Scams

phone-449836_960_720Students are receiving phone scam phone calls and emails about being a winner of a federal loyalty grant.

The WIU Office of Public Safety says the callers will phone from an unavailable location, and tell you that you have won a federal loyalty grant.

OPS asks that you not provide any personal information to anyone who is calling or e-mailing you with “too good to be true offers.”
