WIU Students Feeding Others in Stuff the Bus Event

More hands will make the work light for those who come to support “Helping Hands Across America” at Stuff the Bus 2016.

This is the nineth consecutive year for the event. Starting in 2008, Western Illinois University alone has donated over 10,000 pounds of food that have been distributed and donated to local food pantries.

It will take place around WIU campus and around the Macomb community from 7AM – 8PM.

This year’s event is in search of hardworking volunteers to sort, pack, and collect nonperishable food items.

All donations from this year’s event will aid Loaves and Fishes, the RA Council Salvation Army Thanksgiving Dinner, as well as the Western Illinois Regional Council Community Action Agency.

It is still not too late to sign up and volunteer.
