The McDonough County League of Women Voters, along with the Macomb High Student Council, are giving residents a chance to meet the candidates running for office on the November ballot.
The forum is taking place October 18 at 7 p.m. at the Macomb High Library. County officials, such as State Attorney Matt Kwacala and Coroner Eric Jameson, county board members, and judicial candidates will be open for questions. WIUM News Director Rich Egger will moderate.
Also Democratic candidate for State Representative John Curtis will speak. Curtis is running against State Representative Norine Hammond in the 93rd District and he is the only one from that race expected at that event.
