Basket for Books is encouraging participants to make a pledge!
For every three-point basket that is made at a Western Illinois Women’s or Men’s basketball home game, that basket will count towards new books for the WIU libraries.
WIU athletics and libraries team up every year to raise money for new books.
Last year both teams scored close to 114 three-pointers. Those who decide to make the pledge can make wagers for however many three-pointers that are made at a Men’s/Women’s home game. By the end of March of 2017 the WIU foundation will send those who participated an invoice of the amount they will donate to help get new books for WIU Libraries.
