MACOMB, IL — WIU has received $15.6 million in funding from the state. A university official told the Board of Trustees that the comptroller has kept pace, giving WIU $5 million a month.
Vice President for Quad Cities and Planning Joe Rives said the state continues to invest in Illinois public education.
Rives said that the university has received 29% of its state appropriations, as of early October. The WIU Board of Trustees met on Friday, October 7th.
