Quad City Campus Unveils Its First Rocky Statue

Rocky paradeMOLINE, IL — The first “Rocky on Parade” statue was unveiled at Western Illinois University-Quad Cities last week. Presented through the College of Fine Arts and Communication, Rocky on Parade is a public art project that celebrates the University’s traditions, strengthens the unity of campus and community and supports student scholarship. The rocky on parade project features life–size, and bigger than life–size fiberglass bulldogs decorated by area artists and put on display at various locations throughout the WIU–Macomb campus and in the city of Macomb.
